Seven months ago, I thought that it would be a great idea to do some really detailed pencil line art of Lelouch that would be inspired by Clamp's Code Geass artbook 'Mutuality'.I didn't realize until afterwards that my brilliant idea would be the worst mistake of my life...because I hate coloring.
This has been an on and off project since January, where I would color a golden leaf or two "whenever I felt like it". A couple of days ago, I decided that it drove me pretty insane to have unfinished work sitting around, so I colored the rest of it.

Oh gawd, I have that ALL THE FREAKING TIME LOL. Arrgh, I have at least 4 unfinished pieces lying uselessly in my hard drive now >_> Sometimes you lose motivation so quickly it pisses you off even more that the picture itself.

For serious, it's horrible to lose that motivation. It's especially hard because I never want to move on until I finish a previous piece...but it's hard to bring myself to finish it. Vicious cycle.
