Description Features of my last experimental mask.
For the long time I was thinking of my masks as of some sort of sets with interchangeable parts. Usually hair, as hair needs to be replaced from time to time, and eyes as it's cool when you can install eyes with different effects for different occasions. But here I went furter.

Ears is a controvercial thing - I don't really like the line between them and the face. Hair got stuck in the gap too - but this is fixable. But there are some advaantages as well. Unlike others I don't think it's a good idea to be able to change ears on the fly with magnets, especially if there is not too much controll over environment like during festivals. Velcro may not work well with hard surfaces of the mask too - it can unglue or rip off paint during replacement, and it can be difficult to place ear right. Also vecro gets damaged with time with durt or hair blobs. So I secure them with screws and nuts.

While using magnets for eyes still looks fine as there is almost no room for them to get out of place.

I've mentionned hair hooks already as a way to place wigs - again it's more robust than velcro or double tape. Lots of holes originally was ment for some ventilation (but it turned out it's very little extra ventilation). But now them are a way to reduce mask weight a bit and a way to add secure points for cat/dog/rabbit/etc ears, horns, accessories and add extra secure points for the wig (for example, in case of skydiving).

Respirator was an interesting thing. As active doller myself I was trying different ways to have more fresh air inside mask. Respirators as a concept was with me for a long time but there are difficulties. First of all there is very little room inside a mask for a stock respirator to fit even without all that tubes and stuff so I had to design my own one and cast it out of silicone. The other thing is it doesn't need to be very airtight but instead needs to be soft for long term wearing and air passes through mask mouth. With the ability to cast soap bobbles as a bonus and drink trough the tube as regular human does.

what kind of danger do you see with this mask?

Maybe is the fact that I'm not expert in this, but I see the nose holes locked and obviously the air can't get in.

believe me ... my masks are far more closed and there is still enough air
... it's only a question on comfort, not for any danger to have better air in it

I believe you, you're the expert.

But what do you mean with: it's only a question on comfort, not for any danger to have better air in it.

normal masks have holes at the eyes and hidden unter the hair (sometimes at the mounth too) to get a passive ventilation
... thats far enough to breath safety on normal days without any problems and don't overheat

on hot days or/and in crowded rooms it can get hot inside and the air tastes heavy and thick ... this can cause problems
for this case I added electric fans in 2 of my 3 masks for active ventilation

this respirator is another interesting way to solve this problem

Interesting.

And how did you get the idea of add fans in your mask?

Sorry if I ask a lot.

simply physics ...
If I want to force fresch air in, then I must push the odd air out.
