Description
Well, here is my top 10 characters i like but everyone else doesn't like. Ok, not EVERYONE. Just some or a big chunk of that doesn't like these characters.
10. Brian Griffin from Family Guy.
Why everyone else hates him: People sees Brian as an alcoholic or as a douche sometimes.
Why I like him: He is the one that helps his family with things they can't handle by themselves.
9. A variety of Adam Sandler roles from some of his movies.
Why everyone else hates his roles: Either people are getting tired of his roles or are not giving him a chance.
Why I like his roles: He can be funny in several movies he is in. He does bring good laughs.
8. Sid from the Ice Age franchise.
Why everyone else hates him: Some people find him annoying.
Why I like him: He does help his friends, Manny, Diego and company. He can be very funny.
7. Peter Griffin from Family Guy.
Why everyone else hates him: Some people call him "the Homer Simpson wannabe with glasses and hair" He's also considered annoying.
Why I like him: He is a great and likeable character. Very funny situations.
6. Victor, Hugo and Laverne from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Why everyone else hates them: They make the movie too kid-friendly. They can be annoying.
Why I like them: They are there for Quasimodo to talk with and interact with. They do bring laughs and funny moments.
5. Bella Swan from Twilight.
Why everyone else hates her: For obvious reasons you already know.
Why I like her: Now, i know what you're thinking. "(Gasps) How can you add in Bella Swan as a character you like??" Well, aside from the easily known problems she does already have, Bella is still the heroine that goes on her journey with Edward and she is the one that you could root for. To be fair, she is not the greatest role model for teenage girls and she does little combat (until the last movie).
4. Sam Witwicky from the live action Transformers films.
Why everyone else hates him: He was way more focused character than the Transformers (Autobots and Decepticons) themselves. Some people find him more of an unlikeable hero.
Why I like him: He is one of the more rootable protagonists of the movies and he can be likeable at several moments. Sam does help Optimus Prime and the Autobots to stop the Decepticons, and he is the one that could kill of Megatron in the first movie and Starscream in the third movie.
3. Mater from the Cars Franchise.
Why everyone else hates him: Some people find him annoying.
Why I like him: He delivers big laughs and the charm. Mater does help Lightning McQueen with his race.
2. Scrappy Doo from the Scooby Doo media.
Why everyone else hates him: They find him very annoying.
Why I like him: Scrappy can be very helpful since he does help Shaggy and Scooby with dangers they get in. He also helps them by finding clues about the ghosts. (Mostly in some of the DTV Scooby Doo movies.)
1. Nita from Brother Bear 2.
Why everyone else hates her: I don't really know. :/:/ Probably people who finds her as a Mary-Sue kind of character.
Why I like her: She is the childhood friend of Kenai, the boy she played with when she was a kid. Nita has the sense of likeabilty and funnyness in her. She does have her true feelings about Kenai. She does save Kenai's little bear-brother, "Koda", from an avalanche. She overcomes her fear of water.
All characters here are not mine. They belong to their original owners.

I agree on Peter, Brian, Nita, Mater, Scrappy, the gargoyles, and I mostly agree on Sid. I mean Sid is one of my favorite characters.

I think only Scrappy-Doo should be hated since HE RUINED THE SERIES and they proved that with Spooky Island that NOBODY LIKES THE RUNT.

I like Sid the sloth too, I really feel sorry for him, all he wants is respect and love but Manny and Diego selfishly spits it back at his face

None of them are THAT annoying but I will say that they can be. And I don't know why, but even if the movies he make are atrocious, I can't hate Adam Sandler. I don't know why but he seems like a likeable guy.

I don't have a problem with Mater or Scrappy Doo (what was the reason for making him a villain in the Scooby movie. That was out of character).

Also I don't have a problem with the Gargoyles, thinking they were all the company Quasimodo ever had to help him during his solitude. I only saw Brother Bear 2 once and I wasn't really interested in Nita I'm afraid. The Ice Age movies would not be as funny without Sid in them. I don't have much of an opinion on the rest, except find Peter and Brian Griffin not my type.

About Sid. Well, he does some things that are unusual, like in the third one where he takes care of 3 Tyrannosaurus Rex kids along with the Tyrannosurus mother.
For Nita. I feel she is one of the most under-appreciated Disney-girls ever put by Disney. She does want help from Kenai, to burn her amulet that she got from Kenai when she was a kid. And she needed to burn it the exact same place in the waterfall, where they played as children. This is the rare case that a disney sequel gets better reviews than the first one. I still don't get why those snotty critics always have to bash some few films like Pocahontas, Brother Bear, Robin Hood, Home on the Range and The Black Cauldron. I have some passionate for done of those films in my childhood.

True, I guess I just wasn't that interested in Brother Bear 2 for some reason, seeing it as the same story, but I will admit that Nita was an interesting love interest for Kenai in most ways. The relief is that Koda would now have a new mom/sister of some sorts and not just Kenai. I too will never understand why those snotty critic know-it-alls have to bash on those harmless Disney films you mentioned, including Home on the Range. I have nothing against the Black Cauldron either, only that reading the books was like reading a re-write of the film that became a five part series, which made it more epic and fun.

I think if you saw Brother Bear 2, you would get the idea.
Storywise, well the first one was about Kenai transforming into a bear by the spirits, after he kills one bear that he thought was responsible for his brother Sitka's death. And btw, that bear Kenai killed was Koda's mother. Speaking of Koda, Kenai would tag with him along the way to the mountains where the northern lights are. And both Kenai and Koda starts to became more of great brothers as their journey progresses.
The second one, is a bit different. It continues it's story. Kenai has a childhood friend, who is a human girl named Nita. Nita who was supposed to marry someone else in a wedding. However, it's doesn't work for Nita, because she has already paired with the boy who gave her the amulet, which is of course, Kenai. When she does find Bear Kenai and Koda, they tag along the way to the waterfalls. However, it is shown that Nita is aqua-phobic, which means "fear of water". As their journey progresses, Kenai and Nita is starting to have romantic feelings for each other.

Oh yeah, I guess I missed the point since I only saw the sequel once. I could feel for Koda because he was afraid of losing his brother now that is mother was gone.
