Description
. . . okay, so maybe Marge doesn't count as "scantily clad", but you must admit, a strapless form-fitting dress is pretty risquΓ© for a suburban housewife. You see, this is what I dislike the most about people trying to define any one "anime style" . . . there are so many Western cartoons that fit into them, along with many Japanese ones that don't. Not to mention the differences between genres, decades, studios, etc . . .
. . . yay for magical computers that aren't connected to anything. :B

I like the amount of buttons on your shirt.
Have you seen the animefied Simpson's picture? It's way too funny.
I agree with your thinking on lumping one style as anime (like the huge eyes and blue hair) Anime is just a term we apply loosely for anything that's animated that comes out of Japan. It's like lumping Powerpuff girls and something like Storm Hawks together. They're both Western animation, but they also both look very very different.

I love The Simpsons so much.
Some people say it's "jumped the shark" or "gone downhill" or whatever . . . but I still think it's one of the funniest shows on TV. :]

I think people like that wouldn't know what "scantily" meant xD
It should probably say something more like..."there all sluts n hoes lol"
But I agree completely 8D

Hee! Well, it was the best word I could think of that wouldn't totally screw over the sentence . . . eh, sometimes people'll pull out bug fancy words like that, though they don't always have a good grasp on what they mean. :B

Z'aw. That's okay . . . recently at school we had something of a disaster. During an assembly this one kid, in maybe fifth grade, kept using "melancholy" . . . a couple of times in the right way, but in most of them, not. D:

Ah, well, there's a variety . . . I have several Naruto-themed buttons, both official and fanmade from conventions . . . an Epcot spinny-pin . . . one I got from a Pinky St. package, some from random events and groups around town . . . even, coincidentally, one from The Simpsons! x3

Yeah, pretty much . . . I've seen a couple from other fandoms, but Naruto's pretty the only one I go OMGOMGOMGOMG over enough to risk my food budget for. x[)

South By(x) SouthWest . . . it's an annual music/film/videogame festival that comes by once a year. And with so many people coming in to see it, traffic slows to a crawl and the streets are packed with people!
π: 0 β©: 1
deviatefish In reply to HinoNeko [2008-04-10 19:37:19 +0000 UTC]
Well, I hope the quality of people are better than what one would find at a Star Trek convention... Really, videogame festival.
Personally I enjoy all three very much, but for some reason, I bashed my inner child over the head, cemented his feet, then threw him into the oceans.
Well, seriously though, I wish I were there are this festival, but I have to be here in Washington D.C., where there's no one of importance and no event of importance, and stay in college where everyone studies and have no time for fun.
