Description
In front of the Volkshaus, there was already a long cue of con-goers waiting to get inside. Martha and Sami lined up right behind two girls dressed up as Ghostbusters. Sami was quite amazed by them. As the queue was advancing only slowly, Sami asked Martha. “It’s amazing to see all the people being dressed up. But what are the two girls in front of us disguised as?”

“Oh, they are called Ghostbusters. It’s a movie from the 80s.” Martha remembered the movie.

“Movie?” Sami asked.

“Sorry, I forgot! You had been locked in your lamp for the last 190 years. Movies are moving pictures that tell a story.” Martha tried to explain. “They are very popular nowadays.”

“Ah, like an illusion used to tell a fairytale.” Sami suggested.

“Yea, something like that.” Martha replied.

“And these Ghostbusters, what do they do?” Martha never saw Sami that curious.

“In the film, the hunt down the spirits of deceased people, wich are haunting the living. It’s a very funny movies.” Martha told.

“Spirits? Wouldn’t that mean that they can catch Genies too?” Sami suddenly sounded very worried.

“There are no genies in the films as far as I remember. And it’s only fictional.” Martha tried to calm Sami down.

“Wow! The two of your are really in character here!” one of the ghostbusters girls interrupted. “May I ask what Characters you are representing?”

“We are both genies. I’m Martha and this is Sami.” Martha introduced themselves.

“Ok, but what movie or comic are you from?” the girl continued.

“Oh we are from no movie or comic.” Martha explained.

“OCs I see! That’s really nice. And especially Sami looks very genie like. By the way: My name is Helena and this is Anna.” The girl said.

That moment, a young man in a leather jacket walked past Martha and the girls. The man pushed himself into the queue right in front of the ghostbusters girls. He even gave Anna an elbow-jab to secure his place in the line.

The girls, of course, weren’t happy at all: “Hey, what are you doing here?”

“Thanks for holding my place!” the guy repeated with a sarcastic smile.

“This is our place!” Helena shouted.

“This WAS your place!” came as a harsh reply.

Now Martha interfered: “It was their place. I saw it!”

“What are you going to do about it, doll? Nothing, haha!” the guy replied.

Martha felt her anger rise again. How she wished that she could use her magic right now to get back on him. That moment, Anna yelled at the guy: “I really wish I could trap you in our ghost trap for what you did.”

“Excuse me that I laugh! You painted show box won’t work at me for sure!” laughed the guy.

Now Martha passed her lamp to Anna: “If I shall grant you a wish, you have to rub my lamp first.” Anna, who was also enraged now, grabbed the lamp, rubbed it and repeated the wish. “Wish granted!” Martha blinked.

The girls backpack/Vacuum hose-combinations changed into proton packs while the black shoe box changed into a real ghost trap. Both girls aimed at the guy and switched on the proton packs. “Be careful! Don’t merge the energy streams!” Helena shouted as the streams wrapped around the guy, lifting him from the ground. “Quick! The trap!” Helena added.

Anna slid the trap under the leather jacket guy and kicked the button. The trap opened and the guy was sucked inside. Anna lifted the smoking trap from the ground. “That will teach him.” Then she turned towards Martha. “Thank you very much. How long will he be trapped inside?”

“Basically as long as you want to. You can still release him, if you want so.” Martha explained.

Anna thought for a moment. “In that case, I’ll release him after the Con is over. That will be the worst punishment for him.”

Helena nodded. That moment, the queue moved again nearer the entrance.
