Remarks
Traveling in Edo-Japan was regulated and bascially only the nobility used horses for riding (aside from official messengers or soldiers). If you wanted to make an impression, you moved around in a planquin called "Kago" carried by two strong bearers. I took inspiration from old woodprints (Ukiyo-E), which depict daily life in Edo period Japan.
