I already knew the proportion chart presented in the video and use it for years. It usually applies to normal sized persons around 6 ft. If a person is a bit shorter, let's say around 5 ft, I had to change the proportion chart.
Here's a proportion chart for a person who is on the shorter end, about 5 ft tall. This is a drawing of Kita, a japanese woman from my upcoming comic. I used a ratio head:body lenght of 1:6 (while the video uses 1:8). The rest is very similar to the video. Mark the height of waist, legs, knees, feet etc. in your chart and sketch the poste, then continue with the details of the character
