Lmao this picture changed sooo many times while I was working on it omg. There are a ton and I mean a /ton/ of wips I made of this, and I threw them on tumblr as I was working.WIPs: [link]
This took me several days but yesterday I was like GOTTA FINISH THIS, so I did most of it, and just added a few effects this morning.
It was so hard for me to figure out how to make monochrome with a color, so I decided to almost completely emit the color (almost) because I really can't stand using just one color, I'm terrible. IT JUST. NEVER LOOKED RIGHT TO ME IF I MADE THE ORANGE TOO BRIGHT, so now it's more like a greyish-brown eeee It still doesn't look interesting enough to me but there's nothing more I can do /sigh
I liked this pose because it was a kind I'd never done before. The second stage of the picture looked really cliche to me, and this went better with the color scheme that was beginning to form.

This is amazing, seriously.
I'm mostly captured by all the detail in her hair, all those strands and the way her hair falls, it's looks kind of bouncy but at the same time neat. I'm trying to stop myself from keysmashing and writing a decent critique, cause this is just so pretty. At the same time as you've drawn all this detail you've also managed to keep the light source, this makes the hair look even more real, because the lighter areas allow me to see where the hair is curving.
Only thing off about it is how it is curving, I'm not sure what her previous actions were, but I can't imagine hair floating up like that, for example how it is falling near her waist.
The second thing that caught my eye was all those folds. So many folds, and even more detail, which is eye candy for me. You obviously know how dresses fall, because of the inward and outward curves of her thighs. And because they fall so deep I can imagine that dress must be pretty heavy for her. But it is gorgeous. And the fading out so you can't really define the end of her dress gives the illusion of something much bigger. I really like it.
The shading is great as well, I like the orange shades instead of simple grey. The shading around her breasts, however, makes her chest appear.. a bit oddly shaped? I would recommend making the edge of the darkest shading maybe slightly less hard. Although the hard edges are working perfectly for her neck/chin and/or her hands.
Finally, anatomy. I'm not expert at anatomy, in fact, what you've done here is at least ten times better than anything I've ever drawn. So the only thing I will point out is that there could be some shading under her collar bones to show that there are bones there.

I have no idea what her hair was doing, I wasn't really trying to be realistic with this picture so it doesn't really have any sort of physics. orz I was just like IT LOOKS NICE FLOATING UP LIKE THAT. So. xD
Yay you noticed! That was an idea I kept from beginning to end (despite how much I changed this picture while I was working on it lmfao) that I wanted the dress to sort of fade out into the background :3 I had no idea what to do with her chest....>->u I'm not surprised it looks wierd but I was like I don't know how to shade thisss...and I didn't really use any reference for this picture. eeee.

It does look great, a lot of fantastic art doesn't obey the laws of physics, or even the laws of anatomy, or the laws of light shading. Those other two aren't even laws.. but you get my point

This is a very beautiful piece, reflecting some emotion as she looks like she falls to her knees in a split moment. Explains many creases and her hair slight flowing upwards. This piece has very nice texture and contrast, caught my eye easily which is good. Very good piece, great job, great expression. :]
