Drawing wings is quite difficult to me as well... What I've recently learnt (by studying swans photos) is that feathers on a wing have "sharp", well defined edges so they are not as fuzzy as one could expect. They are placed in a few rows. I'm also still learning and I really can't paint them well yet so I'm not sure if I'm the right person to ask for hints

I've just came back to painting after 7 years break (just check dates in my gallery...), so I lost 7 years of progress I guess I'm not the best person to follow her steps anyway, thank you for the watch

Sorry to hear that... It had to be Hell...

For me it was just luck of time (university, new relationship and regular job later on) so I could still draw, I just fell off a wagon and couldn't go back (and also had no access to graphic tablet). So nothing that tragic.
