Continuing with my series of Photoshops in which Darth Vader is incorporated into important moments in modern history, here we see the Dark Lord assisting the soldiers at Iwo Jima in raising the American flag as a squadron of TIE Fighters patrols overhead.Some of you may recognize this piece as I submitted it to a Photoshop contest on Fark.com.

It may be a joke, but there really is a point at which a joke says more about the twisted psyche of the jokester than it does about having a sense of humor.

I only really have 1 critisim, and that is that Darth is too focused if he's the same distance as the American soldiers. Unless it's a miniture Vader about 20m infront of the flag, holding a toothpick X3

Thats pretty cool dude. I dig the way you photoshoped Darth Vader and the tie fighters in the picture. But Vader seems not as fuzzy as the others in the picture.

Yeah, in retrospect I see there's a lot more work I could have done to this. Might do some touch-ups on this one soon.

I know, it sucks, but the rest of this series was removed under dA's shoddy copyright policy. I don't know why this one remained, but I'm kinda glad cuz I think this is the best one.
I might feel like uploading some of the other ones in the near future, long as I don't get my hopes up again. This has happened twice before.
