Description *An easy tutorial made by a lazy deviant XD
I found the old tutorial I've made somewhere else, so share it here then.

Q:Hey, it's very jelly-builded!!!You skip screens too much!I'm having trouble understanding!!
A:This is not really a "tutorial", it's just a progess about how I draw a CG
If you want professional ones, please search for the others XD, thank you.

Q:I have questions...can I ask you?
A: Sure. As long as I'm able to answer the question you're asking.

Oh well, maybe I'll make another one more understandable someday =3=,and thanks for read through this~ bye~

Yeah, Sai is great too, but I don't know if I can choose between them if I had them both on my computer XD

Good thing I don't have to choose since Sai works great with Vista and OC works great with XP; a perfect harmony, lol.

OTL
Maybe you should change it back to XP..
Like my dad XD
Vista pisses him off after 3 days trial LOL

One question, wouldn't a 300 resolution be enough though?

Seth-Cypher In reply to Seth-Cypher [2007-12-11 15:11:09 +0000 UTC]

Oh, sorry, my bad, I thought you scanned your art lol, so you draw yours directly on computer?

hizuki24 In reply to Seth-Cypher [2007-12-11 15:22:43 +0000 UTC]

Yes. It's said in the title XD
Pens and tablets~because I don't have a scanner that time
But it's still better to set the resolution 300dpi

So would you say PS and Corel Painter wouldn't really be that different? And you do lineart on several layers right?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hizuki24 In reply to Seth-Cypher [2007-12-11 23:48:42 +0000 UTC]

Actually the methads are same....what makes different is the coloring style XD
Yep lineart on multiple layers. but magic wand doesn't work well if the linearts are on different layers......so you can either check"sample all the layers" in PS or merge them into one when done.

DODGE and BURN!!!
Nope, that's the cheating way...for beginners LOL
You use the brush and stroke it with patient...
As for the light part, use thin pens ( The pen you draw the lines ) sketch over it.
Don't forget to do it in three different layers !

1.Magic wand>select the parts you want to clean on the "lines"
2.expand at least 1 pixel
3.On to the layer that you want to clean and press "Delete" on your keyboard~

Dear god, thank you SO MUCH.

I've been using this program for almost a year now, and I haven't explored the program enough to have discovered that trick with deleting things like that.

THANK YOU SO MUCH.

This, has honestly helped to reduce the time I'm working on a picture by at least a thousandfold. Thank you thank you thank you! I'm in debt to you!

Helpful, but do you know how to wipe out things outside of the lines in Photoshop too? That's all I have and I don't want to download OpenCanvas (I'm lazy as well).
