Description
The Lexington approached the freighter in distress and established contact. The survivors inside were relieved at the arrival of the Federation starship.
They had been forced to go to low-power mode to avoid detections by the pirates; except when they were ready to jump to warp, the power regulators fried and they weren’t able to get back up to power, which left them adrift and even more vulnerable to pirate attacks.
The Lexington’s engineering teams immediately set to work getting the freighter back under its own power.
