A civilian station issued a distress call, which brought the Nevada to it's aid. Klingon brigands, possibly in league with Orion slavers, had boarded the station and kidnapped most of the personnel. Only one person had escaped capture: a smart little boy who was familiar enough with the comms systems to send for aid.Image from Star Trek Online.
