In my rendition, i skipped a few things he mentioned as they seembed pointless to me, anyway yeah, enjoy.
PS, Not for complete beginners as I made it pretty quick, but those of you that know the basics should understand.

Dude, This tutorial is like the holy grail
You answer questions in such an old video which bothered me for so long.
I didnt knew you can model the same way as in 3DS with the cut and remove ngons way.
And that cylinder thing with optimizing... I was certain cinema had weaknesses and I never found anything in the more recent tutorials and
you answer such huge questions just like that like X years ago.
I was just so amazed right now. Watching the first 2 minutes of a video and have 2 game changing things shown just like that after 3 years of C4D usage

yeah, oddly enough I can't get this effect with R12 that we use at school, hell, most of the things I did in R9 and R10, i Can't do at school and it does annoy me since quite honestly, I don't like the *new better* things in the newer versions. Well hope you got it to work fine for ya. ^^

No idea, I haven't got the money to upgrade so I haven't had any real chance to experiment with the newer versions, also don't have the time to take classes for it at the moment either.

The format is SWF, I have video permissions now but it's limited duration to like 5 minutes, tutorials are so much longer.

photoshop is easy to learn, especially with the invention of youtube!, and other nice people on here sharing their skills. just learn whatever, and after a while of learning random things, you'll eventually be able to just mash them all together and create your own style.
