I worked this up for the Design a Character group challenge of the week. "The Name Challenge"

In this challenge we were given a character's name, "Galin Modric", and then asked to create whatever character came to mind from that name.

I see my version of Galin Modric as a victorian steampunk type. A diabolical inventor of gypsy descent, he works his craft with the vengeance of a mad man. Half Rasputin and half Gapeto he makes clock-work minions that will aid him in bringing the government to its knees and place him in control.

I thought it would be nice to do a subtle sepia-toned portrait of him. Found the ornate picture frame on flickr.com somewhere. No idea where though.

How'd I do? Do you like him?
