Back to traditionnal media !
I got a bit upset by digital paintings, and looking at some wonderful galleries make me want to retake a run with my old pencils
I really need to practice traditionnal medias! XD

J'adore les reflets et l'effet que tu donnes ! Si tu "délimitais" un peu moins le cheval et que tu faisais un chouilla plus d'abstrait, je crois que je baverais sur mon clavier ! ( vu l'état du mien cela dit, ça lui ferait pas de mal ... beurk )

Honestly the media itself is awesome. Its just the anatomy that's a bit off is all. It's lovely though! Very impressionistic with your use of color!

Yes i still have some problems with the anatomy, when I'm just looking at a photo on the screen. I usually start with the head and finish by the hindlegs, but dunno why, I'm way more concentrate meanwhile the drawing processe, so i finish by focusing on the details a lot and therefor I draw bigger and bigger ...

I do the exact same drawing process so I know what you mean. XD I'm trying to get myself out of it by blue sketching a mannequin underneath before I start but I have a hard time capturing the same character to my lines afterwards.

Exactly, I usually draw some rough circles and lines underneath, but then the global proportions give not the feeling I see in the reference photo. I'm actually doing another pastel drawing and this time I used the grid method, will see how it turn !

A vrai dire je préfère largement les vraies couleurs, il y a du pastel en fond qui font ressortir du rouge et du jaune Merci bien ^^

C'est sûr les couleurs sur le papier rendent toujours mieux que scannées. Après toi seule possède le vrai et peu voir les différences.
