Description Rule 4: "Quit beating yourself up"

Assemblage / shadow box 10 x 18 cm

Old dominoes tin, paper, acrylic glazes, washi tape, acetate transparency embedded in poured resin base layers, packing tape transfer, mica sheet, chipboard cutout, filing cabinet hardware, brads. Figure mounted 3D on sewing machine bobbins.

I am sooo good at beating myself up. I have a whole committee in my head that critiques my work and my life on a regular basis!

Uh-huh - me too. My excuse is that maybe It'll help me improve.
I dunno though, it's so easy to be negative about your own work sometimes.

Thank you. It was fun to make. The little boy's expression was just so grumpy, I had to help him out.
