Collage: Paper, acrylic glazes, beeswax, marker pen, gold foiling pen, rubber grid stamp, stitching, red embroidery thread, Japanese masking tape, eyelets.One-and-a-half spread in an altered book (Benjamin Franklin's Autobiography), work in progress.
1920's illustration by Marguerite Davis. Animal illustrations from a 1910 French children's activity sheet. Pear bookmark on bristol board is threaded through the eyelet to the next page.

I love what you've done with the rhyme by approaching it as a collage- it's made me rethink my method of attack on my piece. Thanks for the inspiration!

The inner workings are indeed marvelous. No keeping 'em down on the farm. I'm not afraid, though. I have Mona. On a nifty cocktail-length cord around my neck. I'm smiling....
