Hey guys! This is my bid for the Summer Art auction that Cavitto is holding this year!

Brief Summary:
This section is for those who don't want to read the long ass story! x'D

Colibri is lost, finds Red (the Red dun mare) and Terror (The Hallow Hysteria guy) they are trying to soothe her to sleep by telling her stories and in reality Colibri is freaking out. Then there's Aphy, just chilling in the background. He is the one who truly put's her mind at ease. Each the the lightning flashes, she sees a beautiful paradise. Aphy has the illusion power, Red is storm, and Terror is Partial Invisibility.

Styx Story:

Styx had fallen from Olympus to earth a few weeks back, she has been wandering around the forest since then looking for a way out and water. She has been able to survive off of her power, Storm. Allowing a hard rain to pound to the ground, leaving a good puddle for her to drink when she is parched.
She has been having it rough since her fall. She was in labor as she fell... When she hit the ground, she hit with such a force, that her body still ached at this very moment and the foal didn't couldn't survive such an impact! Sadness crept over her again. Her little angel never even getting to see Olympus or this new hell she was now apart of; never getting to see life.... Hopefully she is riding the river of Styx and will be reborn again, later in another lifetime.
SNAP!
The mare spins around and sees a little filly, roughly a few weeks old stumble around the corner. Her head is down and slight muffles are coming from the foal. Crying? The curious mare, cocking her head to one side in confusion.

'What was a foal, a YOUNG foal doing out here?'

Kneeling down, getting to eye level, hoping to not startle the foal who still seemed oblivious of the mare.

"Hey, everything okay little one?" Her voice came out soft, nurturing and reassuring.
The foal doesn't even jump, "Yeah, I just lost my mom in the fall." Weak, but still a firm voice came from the filly.
Styx's heart skipped a beat, a pain that she was sure she would never heal. "Oh, my! She fell no where near you?"

The filly looked up at the red dun mare, "No. When we fell, she was ripped away much farther than I. I can still hear His screams..." Her voice trails off as she looks around as if Zeus, himself, was going to come down and scream at her personally. Shaking her head, she continues to say, "I must continue my voyage to find water now. It was nice to meet you..."Her voice trailed off, looking at the red dun mare for the answer that she was seeking.

Reluctantly the mare smiled, "Styx." A simple enough answer, it seemed.
"Styx... Well, it was nice meeting you." The foal started to walk around the large mare.
"Hey! Where are you heading to all by yourself?" Styx asked, slightly confused, but still amazed by such bravery!
The foal replied softly, "I already told you, I need to find food, water, and other supplies."
Styx questioned her sanity for a brief moment, "On your own? You wouldn't want some company to travel with you?"

The foal glanced back over her shoulder, "Really? I don't want to be a bother to you."
Styx smiled, "You wouldn't be a bother, let's walk together."
"Okay!" The foal seemed to cheer up instantly. Now neither of them were alone.

Styx looked down at her new companion, a warmness filling her heart. "What do I call you little one?"
The foal glanced up at Styx, but put her head down in shame. "I was never given a name..." Styx didn't have to glance down to see the tears swell in her eyes. Instead she smiled and looked at the young filly. She knew this wasn't her foal, but she felt the need to take the foal under her wings and take care of her. Her foal died, maybe this was a fresh start? Starting over seemed nice. She glanced back at the little foal, cooing and soothing the young filly.
"I know what your name will be."
"You do?"
"Yes, very much so."
"What is it?"

"Colibri?" The foal looks up at Styx with a slight twinkle in her eyes. Okay maybe it was from the tears she just shed, but still, there was another twinkle there. A happiness that wasn't there moments before. She smiles and says the name again. "Yeah, I like it."

"I am glad you do, Little Bird." Styx glances down and nudges the foal slightly, "Come, come, let's head this way in hopes of something new."

After some time of talking and wandering around for what seemed like forever they seem to enter a clearing of trees. And by the looks from the sky, from what Styx could tell, was growing dark. Glancing down at her new foal who yawned, decided it was high time to start to get ready for sleep.

As Styx laid down for the evening, Colibri seemed to ask more and more questions pertaining to her power: Storm.
"Can you make it rain without the actual lightning part?" Little Bird asks shyly.
"I can, but I prefer to have a little thunder in the mix." Styx replied.
"Ooh, I --"

Before Colibri could finish her reply another Cavitto stepped out from the brush. Protectively, Styx rose from her spot, guarding Colibri.
"Who are you and what do you want?"
The proud blood bay reared, showing off his partial invisibility power, "I am the great Deimos or Terror in Greek." His voice was proud, deep and strong. "I, too, have fallen from Mount Olympus High, and I am just trying to get out of here..." His voice trailed off as he looked around. Styx no longer felt threatened and introduced herself and Little Bird.

"I was actually just laying her down, hoping we could all get a good night's rest. You are more than welcome to join us." Styx maneuvered her way back to Colibri to lay down. The little foal snuggled close to her.

"Why, I would be honored," As Terror went to join them, the ground shook as a fierce crack of thunder pounded up above. All of them shot their heads up to the sky and watched dark clouds hastily make their way towards their oasis in the forest. FLASH! Lightning striked towards the ground. Colibri snapped awake and hastily moved towards the forelegs of Styx.

"Everything okay, Little Bird?" Styx said.
"The lightning scares me." Colibri tried closing her eyes, but it did no good.
"Ah, it is time for stories." Terror says excitingly. Standing up excitingly, Terror starts to tell a magical tale... "Once upon a time in a magical forest...."  As his voice trailed off, Colibri managed to open her eyes for a bit and when she did, boy, was she surprised! She was no longer in her forest oasis. She was in a beautiful lit area, with waterfalls streaming down. Everyone was still there. Styx was holding Colibri in her lap and Terror, out in the middle of the water, was still telling his magical adventure. Colibri closed her eyes, feeling peace, at last. When she peaked her eyes open slightly, the magical place she saw had disappeared. Colibri rolled into Styx, closing her eyes shut, listened to the tall tale Terror gave and pictured the magical place in her mind. In no time at all Colibri, Styx, and Terror drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

Way in the distance of the trees, though, stood a lone stallion. He stood proudly as the rain bottomed out onto him. If he could do one thing right, until he reached his Goddess again, he will keep watch over that little Filly and make sure she is safe.

Oh my goodness, y'all I am TIRED! D: I put a total of 12+ hours into this piece! Welp, I am hoping and praying that I get Red! <3 She has such a sad backstory (which I will get into more detail as time goes on... She will develop a PTSD of sorts. Mainly she will have nightmares and such. :/ Sad I know, but I wanted a sad character and Colibri will set her straight! Don't worry! <3 In my Story line Colibri was seperated from her mom due to the fall. Red takes her in as her own. <3 Such a good natured mare. <3

Horses Included:
Terror and him being all noble, displaying Partial Invisibility!
Styx Import 85; a sweet a kind natured mare who displayed her Storm power! Yes that was her. Not the weather being crappy.
Colibri and Starting of her story. No power was displayed from Little bird due to 1. She is still learning and 2. I don't think she realizes she has a power yet... That will be the story for tomorrow! x'D Yeah, I may do some more arts ...
Aphy and him being a loner butt-head. He played that illusion perfectly just for Colibri.
