*spoilers for Dragons:Riders of Berk season 2 episode 13 Free Scauldy*
This is really meant as a dig at the non-continuity of things in the Riders of Berk show concerning the state of Ruffnut's hair. If you've seen Free Scauldy, you know that Ruffnut cut her hair short in order to make a rope for a splint for the dragon Scauldy so he could escape Changewings... but in the very next episode her hair is just as long as it was before she cut it! Whut?
So I dressed her up as Rapunzel... A character with fast-growing hair.

Yeah, I was kind of hoping to see short haired Ruff or her hair starting to grow back to its original length.

Lol, in the next season, you see them open a chest filled with hair extentions. Has Ruff actually been wearing wigs the WHOLE TIME?? XD

Yeah! When I saw she'd cut her hair off I was like "wow! They actually had her cut her hair!" I thought it was a really sweet twist. But then they took it back! And without explination, too...

It's sad, because of the nice look, and that it is a mess up on the BEST show spin-off of a Dreamworks movie.

The other shows are... well... not as good, mostly that Monsters one. And KFP waste really good stories that could've been used for FILM.

They actually take time and effort to make DRoB... good. Which is awesome because it's actually the one I care about most. Second one would be KFP but I haven't started that one yet... I think I've seen clips and it looks like they could have really upped the quality on it....

I knew I wasn't the only one thrown off by this. It's as though the episodes have absolutely no connection with each other, which is strange cause it all seemed to fix together up to this point...
*SPOILER*
After the episode where Hiccup encountered Dagur on his 'stealth' mission, Dagur learned about him and the dragons, and soon enough, he's out to kill Hiccup and his dragon a few episodes later. He even teamed up with Alvin, found a skrill, trained it (sort of), killed Alvin and recruited his Outcast team to join him (which they are seen with Dagur and his Berserk tribe a few episodes later, and given the ending of that episode, may had killed the remaining few of the Outcast), and Alvin is still dead.
Alvin didn't show up in the next episode as though nothing happened. Dagur still hates Hiccup. He didn't forget all about the dragons and the loss of his Skrill and still think of Hiccup as him either bring a hero or is dead or both. So what made this episode so different from the others..? I'm assuming people started a petition for Ruffnut to reclaim her hair, but I don't know...
I will say this: I really hate it when people keep messing with a good show to change it for 'their' perspective. If you like the show, watch it. If not, then what the hell are you doing watching it in the first place..? Or if you just don't like that particular episode because of Ruffnut's hair, delete it from your recorded episodes and either suck it up and watch the rest of the season or watch something else. Maybe write a fanfiction about it. Just don't go getting all iffy about it because it was made out of Dreamwork's design. Not your own... That goes for all episodes.

Right! And it's not as if I suddenly hate the show because they didn't keep Ruffnut's hair short. I still love it... it's just kind of confusing when you have someone chop their hair off and in the next episode it's as if it was never cut off... without any explination. And if they're going to do that I wish they'd done something other than have her cut her hair off. Even though it was a really touching twist.

I love the show too and I'm 16 lol. It confused me as well and that's really all that ticks me off, her hair 'growing' back in the next episode, but whatever. Maybe Dreamworks will explain it later or there's something that we're not seeing (like the possible petition or something else).
However, as I said before, it's all in the Dreamwork's design and they have all right to create what they want... I just wish there was 'something' between Ruffnut having short hair and her having her hair completely back. Like maybe in the next episode, have her with shoulder-length hair. And the episode after that; braided like it always was, but a little shorter than normal. Then after that, *poof* her hair's back!
Still, it's a little too fast for my taste, but it's something lol.

o yeah i noticed that also it was kinda bothering me. unless ruff has realy fast growing hair, or that episode took place before the episode free Scauldy. since it acualy would be inposible for hair to grow that long in just a couple of months since it normaly would take 4-5 years beofre her hair would have grown completly back. or its the fish oil that makes her hair grown that fast.
i think dreamworks has some explaining to do.

Maybe after Scauldy didn't need the splint anymore she hunted him down, got her hair back out of the rope and made a wig out of it?

that could also have happened, but i doubt ruff is smart enough for that, or she got hiccup to help.

Or that she would even care enough about having long hair asap to do it... Would the hair even be good enough to use as a wig after being under seawater that long?
