Honestly I couldn't think of how to illustrate the abstract concept of mindlessness so I thought 'eh, hollow head will do.'

I think it did the job fine. And I still think it would be a good illustration for a creepy story. Maybe it's a mummified head for sale in a spooky curio shop.
