Thank you very much, FoxyStig! I'd like to remedy that problem a bit more with Redwall in general - there aren't a lot of people drawing fan art of that particular series anymore, even with the game in development & all. How long have you been a fan of the series?

Rakkety Tam MacBurl is one of my favorite characters from Redwall. I think Rakkety Tam was the second Redwall book I ever bought, just because of the character. You nailed his fearless attitude, the outfit, and I think the pipe suits him. The only critique I can think of is maybe his midsection is turned just a tad bit too much, but that's all I can see. Good job!

I like most everything about the highlander image in general, aside from the fact that he's a warrior squirrel, ha ha. Tam was one of the first few I read if I'm not mistaken, but it's been awhile since I've read it even though I have it right across the room. Kinda like how I have replies that I have right in front of me to reply to but I always end up distracting myself, bahaha.
Thanks for pointing out the midsection: I didn't quite catch it until it was too late, but I don't think this is the last time I'll be drawing Tam! Thanks for the input.

I agree about liking the Highlander image. Their appearance alone sets them apart from other warrior imagery. If you haven't tried the Redwall audio books, Rakkety Tam is the perfect one to try. The two actors who play Tam and Doogy are solid in the roles.
Looking forward to any further pics you draw of Tam, or the other characters in the book.
