Description I'd say I'm sorry for the recent AC/Infamous spam but that would be a bold-faced lie and I am against bold-face lying

In Assassin's Creed the main character Desmond Miles experiences a phenomenon known as "The Bleeding Effect" as a byproduct of going through his ancestor's memories, which means that his ancestor's experiences "bleed" into his own and make him hallucinate. I've watched AC: Brotherhood, Revelations, AC3 and AC4, and I don't remember Desmond actually experiencing hallucinations like he does in fanfiction, but in fics that I read he always experiences hallucinations of Altaïr and Ezio. That's definitely not a bad thing as Altaïr is quite awesome (Ezio doesn't really do much for me personally), but it just makes me sad that Connor always seems to be left out (I'm just going to tell you now that this is going to be a common theme for AC art).

Anyway, it's my personal headcanon that Connor has a very moderate anxiety disorder, as in the game he not only hates it when people touch him (which is partly due to his culture) he looks legitimately stressed and uncomfortable around almost everyone. Although back then there wouldn't have been any definite coping mechanisms for dealing with such things I like to imagine that Achilles or Ziio taught Connor how to calm down from panic attacks and how to try and prevent them from happening.
Now, I don't know about you but it seems to me that if you were constantly trying to remember who you are while simultaneously being strong enough to save the world that that might be stressful enough to trigger a panic attack every once in a while, and since Desmond's been depicted hallucinating with his other ancestors helping out, why not Connor to help him through a panic attack (ironically caused by the hallucinations)?

Y'know, I'm drawing all this fanart of Connor helping people out when in reality he probably could use a lot of help himself.
Oh, irony.

Did you read or write this fan fiction? This looks like a scene out of it.

I love all your Connor fanart! I'd love to see him interact with Desmond and Altair tbh and seeing them help each other would just be the best~

Absolutely, Connor could help a lot of people with his idealistic and gentle view of the world, not even with words, but by standing next to them and show them it is fine. Kind of like a therapy dog. However, Connor himself needs a lot of guidance, he would have greatly benefited from having someone as Altair as his mentor.

Now that you mention it that would've been awesome if they had had Altaïr in the game somehow (like with Ezio in Revelations)
