Summer Doodles #36Yay for original titles.
Fun fact- this thing tormented me when I first played Platinum, because no matter how many pokeballs I chucked at it, it refused to be caught.
I still haven't actually caught it yet. ):

I tried 3 times and finally I got Azelf. I used hypnosis and dask ball. Now I am chasing Mesprit. It's annoying lol If I got it I will try Uxie then since play the "get in the ball" game isn't easy lol . My favorite color is blue so Azelf has a great one but somehow Mesprit my favorite because ,it's like a child

Try using Dusk Balls and use a move that'll make it fall asleep. Also use the False Swipe move to get it down to 1 HP. That should make ya be able to catch.

False swipe doesnt always work, still recommended to use. I think I'll try that.

Uxie was the one that tormented me. I had my Giratina, Hades, go up against it since he had the type advantage. Apparently, in platinum, Psychic moves were ineffective against ghost types (at least that's what I remember form the incident), and nearly the moves Uxie had were Psychic or Normal. It kept on trying to hit Hades with moves and they didn't effect him. I got Uxie down to red HP, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't catch it. the battle went on so long that Uxie ran out of moves to use, and used Struggle. It then KOed itself from the recoil damage. I played for at least an hour trying to catch that thing. I finally caught Uxie after hours of playing, but it took so much longer than I anticipated.

I had the same problem in my first playthrough of Pearl. I was much more prepared the second time around, but it was definitely annoying.
Love the pic though. Azelf looks very mischievous.

Best strategy
1. Begin battle by throwing 1 Quick Ball
2. Lower HP cautiously (no moves with type advantages, stat buffs or debuffs; disadvanages work)
3. Use Nest Balls with the Highest lvl. Pokemon in your team.
4. Heal if required
5. Timer Balls REALLY HELP only if you are really far in the battle.
At any time Paralyze them (Thunder Wave or Sing do the trick), or place them to sleep; both will have better results, but sleep wont last long so make it count!
I learned this over playing Diamond, Soul Silver, Black 1&2, and Omega Ruby.

Forgot to add the power of the move and the effects it leaves ALWAYS make a difference so use weaker moves. And hope you dont get a critical.
