Giant Robot Society- web comic project.ive been working on sequential for this project lately, and i once again realized how challenging it is to make a comic.
this is one of the promo- cover art material illustrating one of the key moment in the first chapter of the story.
featuring the main character "mechanic" and his captured prey "Orphan."
please stay tuned for more concept, and illustrations before the comic became available next month ^^

this drawing was done using pencil and paper- 24X18inch sketch book, then colored in PSCS5.

how long does something like this take you to make in total? Do you like how CS5 handles color? better than previous versions?

yeah i think pscs5 is in many ways upgrade from previous versions. especially from cs4.
this particular piece.. im not sure how long it took but i think i spent most of time on pencil and paper.
