Description
#xxx - Primisect (Primitive + Insect)Paleozoic PokΓ©mon
Type: Bug/ Rock
Ability: Sturdy
*It cannot be knocked out with one hit.
Height: 7'11"
Weight: 292.1lbs
---
Description: Over 300 million years ago, Primisect roamed the lands, striking fear in even the most savage of beasts. Nature designed Primisect to be a devastating tank of carnage. For reasons unknown, Primisect vanished from the fossil records during a certain period of time, which baffled many scientists of today, since Primisect seemed to be the perfect predator.
---
Evolutionary Line:
This PokΓ©mon is not known to evolve.
---
This is my fourth and final design for Primisect. For those of you who don't know, Primisect is my take on how Genesect looked before Team Plasma modified it.
I noticed that my other designs seem more like recolored copies of Genesect rather than my own concepts, so I decided to approach the drawing differently this time. Instead of changing details on Genesect to make it more ancient looking, which was what I was doing, I took Genesects general shape and began designing from there, thus removing my creative boundaries. When I finished Primisect, it no longer looked like just a copy anymore; to me anyways, which was what I was aiming for.
If anyone is interested, it would be nice to hear some opinions and/or critiques on Primisect. Hope you all enjoy this.

I would take this over Garbagesect any day. I love how it retains the body structure, & makes it seem that over time, much of its body mass was lost due to natural causes, giving less organic matter to Genesect's revival. Β

Thanks. I wasn't really happy with this design at all, and that's kinda why I made multiple designs lol.

Cool!
So, I take it you're the one who posted the idea for Primisect on the TV Tropes WMG page for Pokemon Black and White?

Actually, no. I didn't even know what WMG was until I looked it up a few seconds ago, lol. But thanks.

You're welcome!
Really? That's kind of surprising, since there was speculation of a Pokemon that's the unmodified version of Genesect called Primisect. Great minds think alike, I suppose.

Well, I don't really think that Primisect is a very creative name. I simply combined the words Primitive and Insect together, lol.

In the design I've been thinking of (though I haven't drawn it yet), I thought of the name Presect, which is good because it also, when transliterated into Japanese, would fit the 5 character limit (γγͺγ»γ―γ, or Purisekuto).

this looks awesome!
but for a 'paleozoic' pokemon, it looks pretty futuristic..

Thanks. I take it you got the futuristic idea from the blue orbs on its body? That's the only thing on it that I can think of that might give you that idea, lol.
