Description
So Toriel's finally finished after working on her for over a month. I learnt a ton of stuff about making plushies better and faster while making this. She is for sale sold! This is the only one I will be making to sell!
She is made (almost) completely out of minky. Her white dress is made of cotton. All details are embroidered on with my own embroidery machine. Most of the rest is machine sewn, with a few tricky bits done by hand. Her ears are very floppy and she also has a small light gray heart inside!
She is approximately 34cm tall and comes from a smoke-free and pet-hair-free home so you don't have to worry about any smells or allergies. More FAQs over here !

let's say hypothetically I... okay, not even hypothetically. I NEED to make a 6ft version of this... is it doable? like any ideas what I could put inside as a bendy skeleton for posing it? or if I would need to use a thicker material for a larger scale? I saw your etsy thing for the pattern, i'm just trying to figure all this out. I have a fabric store close to where I live and an empty chair that needs her sitting in it. I don't have any experience with this type of stuff, but I gotta start somewhere. I eventually want to make full scale versions of most of the monsters from the game, but first things first.

You could certainly try? I had someone make a huge version of my togekiss and it came out pretty well, if a little more "puffy" looking.
Personally I think the pattern is only really going to work well at small sizes since that's what it was made for -- if I was making a huge version of it there's stuff I'd change to make it easier to assemble and give it more shape.
The fabric shouldn't really matter, though you might want to use a softer pile of fur.

I think there is an officially licensed Toriel plush :/ Β Apparently if you cut it open, there's a heart inside it.

This was made several months before that one and also has a heart inside it!

What fabric did you use? I know this was made a while ago but good job!

Although I've seen a number of different Toriel plushes out there (especially a particular one that's mass-produced), this one, I feel, is more proportionate to the real Toriel.Β And of course, you preserve that same cute "goat mom" smile.

Good to hear, making her proportionally correct was one of my goals!

How much would a custom made doll from you cost? Please, if you have a price list, give me one!

How much do patterns usually cost?
π: 0 β©: 1
Chrismilesprower In reply to hoppip [2015-12-22 17:04:28 +0000 UTC]
Well most patterns, depending on how much details and size, go up to at least $75 to $300 from what I've seen, but I'm glad you're selling them at this price because it's more affordable to get a plush everyone wants.

That seems pretty outrageous! Where are you seeing prices like that? Here or on other sites or from professional tailors or what? Are they for other plushies as well, or for things like suits and dresses?

Chrismilesprower In reply to hoppip [2015-12-23 16:16:11 +0000 UTC]
From place I've seen it's mostly Etsy that sells them at those kinds of prices. Mostly because the cost of the material they use that's why they sell them so expensively.

Oh well if they're also selling the material with it then that makes more sense. My pattern is just a bunch of .pngs you have to print out
