A complete Original E. O. Richter & Sons Co. Kopernikus VII compass set from around 1960, in cyanotype-style duotone. (The set is for sale.) Even after WWII the Original Richter compasses were really highly regarded. This set was an everyday tool of a mechanical engineer over some 35 years, before I got it. The cleaning tissue and certificate card are missing, otherwise it is complete and functional. But I don't admire its age only, but the quality and workmanship, too.
