Description
The "Kőkút sancte Maria Magdalene" monastery of Pauline Order is located near Salföld in a hidden walley. The stone temple and the humble buildings of the monastery homed usually twelve to fifteen monks since the XII. c., the foundation of Order of Saint Paul the First Hermit (O.S.P.P.E.) This is the first and only religious order that called to existence in Hungary.
The monastery was secluded during all of its history as it was a kind of collective hermitage. Now it is in ruins but quite well preserved, and only hiker's routes go there and a forest road of limited access.

This is the only window where the tarcery could have been partially reconstructed and it bears an encircled letter S in the top part, perhaps as a reference to the landowner Sal family (or the word "Saint" ). The tree beyond the window is from much later times
