Coincidentally I also reminded you a couple of days ago (here we have mandatory confinement from March 20 to April 13 and I was looking at the number of virus cases in other countries, and I was glad to see that in your country the number of cases is low.)
the phrase is almost perfect, only it should say: "...espero que no te haya dado mucho hipo..." or "...espero que no hayas hipado mucho..." (in Spanish there are a couple of compound pasts)
There is no such belief here, so I was a little puzzled to read the text in Spanish (I wondered: what relationship does Fangio have with hiccups?
but when reading the rest of your note I could understand it.
