Description
It was an early afternoon with a rather unpleasant drizzle. I found a little path that led into the bushes and crossed a small creek—all was hidden as the thicket entangled over them. A tiny plank bridge was over the creek, and I've found the sun's reflection on the water, broken up by the rings of droplets, small waves and web of branches. This image is converted duotone blue, otherwise unedited.

Fascinating. Great. And I like that you write details about editing in descriptions

First of all, thank you for the llama, I think. AFAIK it has indebted me so I opened your name link to look at your work. I found this piece and it is photographic art. Focus looks good at this level. I tried magnification and discovered it lost fidelity at 3x. Noted the file size on the 990 point link. 12.3 meg would seem adequate for commercial use. I am tempted to buy it just to have it, but I would exploit it. It's that good.
The photo itself reminds me of swimming in the moonlight and seeing the world from below the surface. It also reminds me of sinking the last time and seeing the light fade. If you never swam in the moonlight, then it is dark and forboding, if you have, then it is a memory awakened, possibly innocence and youth or a path to tenderness or passion. This dichotomy is part of what makes great art. Evocation in the mind of the viewer.
The description shows me it was happenstance and capturing a moment and scene. Being able to see the moment as such and capturable as such makes the photographer. Looking at the 25 photos in the gallery link to the right, for me, this piece outweighs all the others in emotional effects. Perhaps it is the darkness and impression of movement. When you become famous, this will be a featured photo in the textbooks about you. I look forward to your further explorations of the world.

Dear YYNXS, first of all, the llama was not indebted you at all, because it was a kind of reimburse. But if this llama drove you to visit my images, it's good and if you find—as you wrote—something interesting, or even valueable, it is even better. Meaningful comments make one main importance of dA while drawing attention to artworks give the other.
It was extremely interesting to learn how you "read" this image, and what effect did it on you. Thank you for sharing!
I have to agree that this is one of my best shots. I have a few that I value more, but there is a level where it is matter of taste and I think (upon feedbacks) that this is that level. Perhaps I will publish the others here, too...
And looking forward for that textbook
Thank you very much!
