If put together, Rei Shi and Helios would seem like an entirely different person. Helios known for his kindness and optimism. Always with a smile on his face, he captivated many hearts; young and old. To his enemy, he’d show a different mask. Using the pretense of justice, Helios would always take whatever chances he has to bully them. It seems he took great pleasure in bullying Obsidian Ruby. While his counterpart is quite and sullen, always keeping to himself for fearing other people would figure him out for the hero he is.

One thing they share in common however is that little malice hidden deep inside. Rebellious like a tiger, Rei would always lash out to anything or anyone near him whenever his mood swings went sour. This is why it is advised to not piss him off while in battle. Only two people are known to put up with his behaviors; his mother and Daedalus the mewtwo. However it is not uncommon for Rei to show kindness to others. Rei is not quick to judge. He'll keep his opinion to himself and watch the developing events. It is quite useful when it comes to determine whether or not the certain gijinka have what it takes to be a hero and whether or not the culprit means any harm.

H I S T O R Y
Rare. That is what people call his species. If only they knew.

Rei came to this world to a family of single mother. He never knew who his father was nor did his mother told him. It doesn't matter after a while. His mother's job keeps dinner on the table and that is all that matter. After a few years, he also grew out of the teasing brought from his different build from his Staravia mother. Life went on normally afterwards. By the time he graduated from high school, his mother remarried (after asking for his consent). Not wanting to bother the new family, he decided it was time for him to be independent. So he did what most teenagers did; move to the city.

The young Reshiram worked as a pizza boy for a few months before a scout scouted him for a hostess club. Life was hard at that time, job was scarce and the bills were high. Even when his mother asked if he was doing okay in the city, Rei would just nod and tell her he's doing fine. Life as a host was glamorous at first. Born with a pretty face, his name soon rise up the rank. He'd entertain his client but he would go as far as flirting before withdrawing. His time as a hostess was short, only a mere one year. But he seen alot during that short period of time. Shady business played behind the club's VIP room. Drug dealers, weapons, pimping, bribery, anything just name it, he seen and heard of them all. He was able to keep his life just because he didn't stick his nose into these messes. Apparently staying quite was not enough to guarantee his safety.

On the final night of his shift, for he had already handed over his resignation, Rei found himself in a sticky situation. When you're surrounded by gijinkas in sunglasses and black suit in the middle of the night, usually it’s not a good sign. He figured one of the shady people he saw was a politician. And Politician gets scared easily. Rei was lean, muscular, but lean. His odds were low against five machamp.

Soon enough, they were beating him to pulp. On the brink of death, all he could thought of was how unfair for him to leave this world like this, of how those culprit would get away doing what they want just because they can. And most importantly, he thought of his mother and how devastated she would be. Then, he felt something inside of him snapped and this warmth that followed through. Warm like the sunlight on his face, warm like his mother’s touch. And something was burning…Rei looked through his blooded eyes, that his tail was on fire and the machamp on the floor unconscious.

That was the night Helios was born. Rei fainted afterwards, and woke up in a hospital. On his road to recovery, the police; who found him and the machamps, questioned him. He agreed to help with the case on the condition that the informer identity must be kept a secret. It was during this time that he met Daedalus.

In a few months afterwards, Rei kept his profile low as people beginning to talk about the new hero clad in white. Only when he was sure that his usual clients have forgotten about him did he came out in public and took on his new job as a model.

He wears blue cosmetic contact lens and covered his wing's claw and steel in realistic silver covering.
Always wears shirt/jacket/clothing with protective leather shoulder pads to protect it from tear when his claws rest on his shoulder.
Is bisexual.
His name comes from Dae's comment during one of his usual villain drop off at the police headquarters. The mewtwo told him of how his tail fires shine as bright as the sun. It inspired Rei to get the name Helios which is the god of sun.
