I managed to finish it... earlier than I thought! And I'm happy about the result *___*
I guess you can probably imagine it... but this is my picture for this year's 4/13!
I can't believe this is the last one! Homestuck is really going to end... I don't know if I can handle it ç___ç (it's already sure I'm going to cry a lot, moreover these last upd8s have really been a roller coaster of feels!)
I have started reading it and joined the fandom not even two years ago, but you have no idea of how much this comic means to me.
It's been a short -for me- but incredible journey, I'm really gonna miss it, but I'll never forget!

I can't believe it really happened. It's over.
The story that we saw grow, the characters we saw live and change, the ones that made us laugh, get angry and what they did and cry, the ones we learned to love... everything came to an end. It's so sad to think about it this way, but it's been wonderful.
Homestuck in such a short time became so important to me, it gave me so much. I'm never going to forget it.

Hi, this is my first comment with ProjectComment and I'm excited that it's Homestuck fanart! I just started the series with my boyfriend a couple months ago and I haven't yet gotten all that far (I believe I'm entering Act 4 finally?) so I don't know as much as I should but I still love this piece!!
Firstly, the style is adorable. I love how you realistically portray anatomy while also keeping it distinct and recognizable as your art! I'm also in love with your sense of shading and color, as both are very clean and almost as if I'm looking at an "official illustration." The way you draw clothing is spot on, right down the folds, too! Second, I love the contrast between the two Johns, and yet the obvious correlation that they are the same person. It's wonderful to see how you captured his evolution, so to speak! Finally, I love the background and how you arranged the house and the area below and above. The only thing I can really offer "improvement" for would be the perspective, as there appear to be multiple different vanishing points with the windows and walls and stairs. for instance, the step by the door's lines should be parallel with the railing not far from it. You appear to be drawing in something similar to a one point (or, technically, one line in this case as it's the edge of the house and not a single point) perspective. However, the angle of the windows suggest switching between one line and one point. Overall, though, it's not immediately noticeable and doesn't distract from the piece at all!! I love it a lot and I hope you draw more Homestuck even if it's over, especially as I'm just getting into it. c: I hope you have a wonderful day and that this was helpful!

the first thing that caught my eye was the poses of the figures, i can tell that you have an amazing grasp of human anatomy! those hands especially are very well done, and they can be very hard to get right. the hair texture also looks really great, and the clothing folds look awesome too!
however, the figure on our left looks a bit unbalanced, and i would recommend drawing him a little bit farther back on the railing so the viewer doesn't worry that he's gonna fall off. this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JHt6l… really helped me learn to balance poses, so if you have the time i would recommend watching it c: the perspective on the window on the bottom looks a bit off to me as well, so i'd recommend fixing that, but that's a very nitpicky thing.
overall, this is a fantastic picture, you're very talented, and i hope you keep up the good work!

Hello! Tainted Truffle here from ProjectComment ! This is really nice and really cute. Looking at it honestly reminded me how sad I am that home stuck is over, the meaning behind it and your artist comments driving this fact home. Younger John's face is so cute and innocent, poor kid has no idea what he's in for. You did a good job making older john still be obviously the same person and look older at the same time. All in all this is beautiful and seriously reading the artist comments brought tears to my eyes.
