been kinda dead on bwm, sorry lol, admin stuff, you know how it goesso yeah raven is gonna be kind of a misogynist... sorry ladies, lol. he was raised traditionalist, but don't worry, his mate isn't going to put up with his supremacist bs
decided to make him more wispy rather than scruffy, he's still got a squarish head tho. the idea is to make him look more like a raven, so i made him sleeker with a deep chest
Love wasn’t present in Raven’s birth pack. To his parents, it was taboo to become mates for the sake of love - silly and foolish, even. To the elders, love was the fantasies of a pup, and mates were only to become a couple for the sake of procreating. Raven didn’t know if his parents “loved” him, per say. They… Kept him fed, at least.
Raven didn’t feel the need to seek out love - he never knew love, and from what he heard from his elders, it didn’t sound very appealing. It made a wolf insane and weak, and Raven would not be driven to that point.
His mission was to find a mate, and have pups, as he should, and he wasn’t concerned about falling in love with his future bride. He would avoid it, even. All either of them were there for was to pass on their bloodline, and that’s just what Raven intended to do.
The lithe male leapt onto a flat stone, nearly teetering over the edge of a dry creek bed. It seemed stable enough to create a roof over the slope of the creek bed, and underneath was a hole, dug out by an animal no doubt, but long since abandoned. It wasn’t terribly big - but just enough to fit in a single wolf and hide some pups. Raven made a mental note of the location, marking it with his scent to come back to once he’s found a suitable female.
He wouldn’t take the spot yet, but once he has a mate, and pups to have with her, he would return.
