The child of well-to-do Chinese-American parents, Kallista Ling showed great promise both academically as well as when her Neo-Child-induced psychic abilities manifested at the age of two. Rather than fear and surprise, her parents were thrilled to have brought such a gifted child into the world.
Kallista was nurtured, and after graduating highschool at the age of 14 she was invited to join the United States Government's top secret "Psychic Unit," something she was more than happy to accept. She enjoyed her new job. It thrilled her to scan the minds of others and gather information for her superiors.
Sadly, all of this changed in 2004 when Kallista's unit was assigned to track down and assassinate one Dr. Ryan R. Ryan, MD. Once she found him, she attempted to psychically scan his mind (as a means to find a means to attack him as well as get information she could possibly use in the future), but was overwhelmed by the visions she saw...so much that she gouged out her own eyes with her bare fingers. Catching her off-guard, the Doctor attacked her, biting her and thus passing on his "Psycho-Plague" to her.
The rest of her unit managed to save her (as well as her eyes), but it was too late. Within days, the plaque made its way through her bloodstream, attaching itself to all her connective tissue in an aggressive manner, clouding her mind and amplifying her psychic abilities five times their original potential. Kallista ruthlessly murdered the other members of her unit and became an assassin for hire, aligning herself with anyone of great power as it suits her. If they fall out of her favour? She betrays (or kills) them as she sees fit and moves onto her next "target."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was the piece I got so much positive feedback for while working on it at school...of course no one seemed to see all the mistakes I made on this piece (or the fact that she's a "blind" chick with blood running down her face). But hey, I used NO reference when I made this, so I'm happy. She is also partially-inspired by a character I made in 7th grade (who in turn was inspired by the movie Scanners), with some necessary revisions.
Oracle (formerly know as Kallista Ling) is a "Neo-Child;" the result of her mother taking the prenatal vitamin known as "Felanerol." Her powers manifest in the form of advanced psychic abilities, such as the ability to read minds, project her thoughts into the minds of others, take control of the minds of others, to use telekinesis, to levitate/fly (transvection), and to "Scan" people to the point of making their heads explode. These abilities were amplified after she was exposed to Dr. Ryan's "Psycho-Plague," but at the price of losing her sanity.
She's an opportunist, taking advantage of any opportunity she has to seize power as she sees fit. She despises Dr. Ryan (since her powers will not and will likely never work on him), but at the same time she is grateful to him for helping her realize her full potential. She still wears the now tattered remains of her old government uniform and has had her eyes grafted to her hands (since she ruined all the tissue around her eye sockets when she was psychically assaulted by Ryan) by the Neo-Child simply known as "Body-Bag."
Currently, she has aligned herself with the Anti-Christ in Israel as one of his Four Horsmen (Conquest), but is looking to align herself with Heaven...or the Thanatora...she's undecided. Maybe she'll even align with the Dwellers of the Abyss (Nibiru).

lol. Thanks. You know, I haven't seen Disney's Hercules yet. I was a tad turned off by the whole water-downed version of the mythos. >.>;

Yeah. You know, I'd have probably not liked The Little Mermaid if I had known the original story first too. I HAVE THE PENIS BOX THOUGH!

Yeah, on the first VHS tape cover of the Little Mermaid (as well as some movie posters) you can see what looks like a Penis as one of the towers in the castle background. It goesa for ALOT of money on Ebay, but I actually swiped mine from my cousin.

Thank you so much. She's a really creepy design and she really seems to have brought several elements of my story together.
