Description So, this Christmas I offered as a gift to to draw anything she asked me to.

She chose her antihero, Toxic Waste Girl, from her original Superhero series, Crankyman.

I have to say I'm glad she did. This character rocks. No one's drawn her in action yet though, or in her full villainous attire, so that's just what I decided to do.

Great pose and wonderful choice of colors! I think this would really benefit from expanded highlights-- you currently have like... lines I guess of color change- whereas a shape of changed color is sometimes more compelling. Just a thought-- looks great

After your journal, I decided to say something about that picture...Since it is one that I liked a lot

Because first, the colors and the pose attracted me. We don't see this many kind of effects often. Superman-type of characters made me feel all nostalgic Because you drew her very well and the pose fits. The coloring is awesome and I like the background and the toxic sludge thing around her.

Thanks for your feedback It always makes me happiest when I can evoke some sort of nostalgia, or other emotion that symbolizes the reawakening of a dormant love for something. memories, etc. I'm very happy you like the pose. I must say I myself often find my poses to be a bit contrived, or something that looks good as a "pose", but wouldn't hold up as well in action. I think this one works though, and I'm very glad you find it suitable. Now, since you chose this picture to talk about, see about paying a visit to some time to see more Toxic Waste Girl. (She is her character, after all )

Yup Sierra said that she'd wear an "industrialized" aviator helmet as Toxic Waste Girl, and seeing as how no one had decided to pop it onto her head yet, I chose to do so
