Because I don't want my friends and watchers to think that I'm no longer into Hellraiser.
It's kind of funny. I didn't enjoy Hellraiser: Bloodline as much as much as I enjoyed the first three films (personally, I think Bloodline would be made of AWESOME if someone would just re-insert at least SOME of the deleted scenes), but I love the ChatterBeast. I want one so it can eat the neighbor's dogs when they come into my yard to chase my cats.
The linework took awhile since decent ChatterBeast pictures are REALLY hard to come by. So, I was stuck using pictures of the NECA action figure and a couple of dark screen captures from the movie, and the two differ from one another significantly...so my ChatterBeast looks a tad different...different enough that I may possibly be able to say that he is a different ChatterBeast from the one in the film thus say he's Luciva's personal puppy-guardian, right?
Aside from a few touch-ups, I actually coloured this piece up in one sitting. I haven't been able to do that in a LONG time. What can I say? Working with textures is FUN.
This ChatterBeast looks better than my Previous Attempt.
I dedicate this piece to =firepixie , because she's made of awesome and win...and she finds the ChatterBeast frightening. Happy Nightmares, girlfriend!

en you get puppy's like this in Vampire masquerade as well, gouls of the flesh crafting vampires get turned into monster hell hounds to protect thier masters... but they are naaasty oh and som of the sabat look allot like this too.
It's an old theme in mythology too, souls of the depraved being cut down to thier most base essence and turned into monster beasts ... too stupid to reble against thier masters and content as long as there is plenty of gore to be had ... I imagine there are all sorts of these types of creatures in the labyrinth things to far gone to remember they where ever human let alone have human shape.

MonstersGame has Bionic Walkhouds that make me think of ChatterBeasty here, probably because they have a mouthpiece that look Chattery and a a spikey collar. It's still not as WIN was what you just described though.
In the DTVs, there was a 'Torso' Chatterer (his daddy was the first Chatterer I'm assuming), and he was yet another Cenobitic pet. I haven't read the comics, but Scarecrow said they had many monster pets in the Labyrinth. XD
He is definitely cute. I want one. <3

Indeed, the Cenobite "Hunger" has a habit of simply combining various limbs, somewhat simialr to Torso. I remember once he made soemthing that was basically six arms attached to a couple of severed heads that crawled round like a spider...

I really need to hunger down those Hellraiser Comics. I was lucky enough to find the Books of the Damned via SoulSeek a few days ago. ^.^;

As with all thigns, there's some turly brilliant stories, and a few really bad ones but the variety is excellent. The Books of the Damned are a lot of fun and give some great backgorund info.

Yeah, the Books are really inspiring with the art and stories. It's giving me new Cenobite ideas as well. I'm currently designing another Cenobite right now, I'm just having trouble with her pose mostly. ^.^;

Well, I've just been scratching the sruface of full body drawing, and I have yet to draw the Chatterbeast in full form, mostly due to not being able to find good full body pics of him save for pictures of the action figure. ^_^

Very dark, very textured and a great rendition of Pinhead's personal Cneobite Pet. Never was a fan of that NECA bio, the concept of pets came first in the comics and they tend to be "rejects" rather than true Cenobites. It's a shame his role was cut down as well, we should have seen much more of he Chatterbeast. It's great to see such beautifully dark art.

NECA also said Chatterer was second-in-command (or something like that), but movie-wise it appeared that DeepThroat/ Female was the second-in-command. Poor ChatterBeast, he walked around the scism, eats a bird, guards Bobbi and Jack, get sent bacvk to Hell, gets summoned again and get gets blown up. ^.^;

Blowtorch? You mean the 'Barbie' Cenobite, called such because of the blowtorch, barbedwire stuck to his flesh and the fact that he was a bartender prior to being turned.
