Originally I was making this guy for a possible Hellraiser RP/Comic for the Hellbound Chronicles with ~BlackDove42 , but I haven't talked to her much as of late, and since I'm moving my Hellraiser fan cenobites over to the assimilated ranks of the Thanatora, I figure this guy had just as well be moved over as well. Yes, that IS his real head. Who ever said the supernatural had to be logical?
Baphomet was once a Fallen Angel and Pagan Fertility God who resided in Hell; However, when Samael returned from his "Journey of Enlightenment", he offered to have Baphomet assimilated and become his right-hand man in an effort to find souls worthy of assimilation. Needless to say, Baphomet eagerly accepted.
In NeverRealms, Baphomet is best known for attempting to tempt St. Francis of Assisi (of course failing miserably) and gathering/assimilating Gotzon Thodt. He is also known for locating the one who would become the Queen of the Thanatora.
Mutilations-wise, Baphomet's consist of a harpoon/fish hook implanted into each of his hands and metal 'tentacles' in his back. These tentacles can detach from his back completely and have a set of tiny blades attached to one end and a tiny power drill attached to the other. He can control these tentacles telekinetically and uses them to subdue and (on occasion) lobotomize others.
His head is even a weapon, with jaws powerful enough to squash a human skull as if it were a rotten watermelon. Mmmm...

I was thinking of tweaking Baphomet here a bit. I want to give him wings, possily a tail and proper digitigrade leggies.

I really like the original game for Amiga. It's barely a game in the sense that there's a lot of stuff you can only avoid if you memorize exactly when they will try to harm you, as well as a few bosses where all you can do is mash attack in front of them in hopes of their health bar depleting faster than yours, but damn if that game doesn't have a distinct atmosphere, as well as some stunning graphics and aesthetics for the time. Not to mention the music...
Ah, Baphomet is such a cool imagery, would love to see such newer takes on it in your style!

Ah, you're concept is awesome. For my Baphomet, I was inspired by Skeletor and this one action figure I have as a kid which was similar to Skeletor, but his skull didn't have a hood and his body was grey-black and red.

I love this character design. It's awesome, I love the skull of an animal head. It's always been a favorite trait of mine, whether it be a mask, helmet, or just the head itself. I like how he's eerie appearing, but still has a lot of factors that make him stand out amongst others with this design. Such as the tubes, leather, the hands, everything. It's nice to see a change from demonic or ritualistic looking versions. This one is more cult like, even futuristic appearing. Modified to kick total ass!

Well, unlike the mythical Baphomet, this version has been assimilated into the Thanatora, a people who are kind of pseudo-futuristic and yet ancient in their own rite. I'm glad he stands olut. I've been trying to get my OCs to stand out a bit more lately.

Well, one thing you can do to draw better skull is user references like I did here. I found a Mountain Goat skull online and referenced it, of course taking creative liberties with the horns here.
