Sun sets through a summer storm over the vlaktes of the great karoo. Shot from atop the valley of desolation It looks peaceful, but the wind was as strong as it gets, luckily it was blowing from the front, if it was coming from behind I definitely wouldn't be standing on the edge of the cliffs.

This was taken in January on a trip to KTP, I tried to process it earlier, but my skills weren't quite there yet, only now after two months behind the computer did I succeed in blending this into something pleasing!

The composition is thrown off a bit by the position of the sun. It would have been nice if it was more to the left, but this was 5 weeks after summer solstice, so it doesn't really move much further.
