Description
These rays are a local tourist attraction at one of the Cape's smaller fishing harbors. They love the shallow warm water and a lot of them are usually gliding around between the boats. This one's "wingspan" is about 2m/6ft. The scale is quite misleading due to the ultra wide angle lens, but my point is...that it's effin gigantic!5D II

Mannnnn that's big! I remember petting one once, and it was very soft. I love all the shades of blue and the marine life.

Jy moet op ander mense se goed gaan comment om aan die gang te kom. Moenie net well done se nie. Probeer 'n bietjie in diepte kritiek gee

Mate, that is NOT a photo of the Cape. You secretly flew to the Med and took some shots there. Right?

I used to swim with a bunch of these guys - They were tame, though. This guy looks wild and a little scary, too!

It looks effin gigantic. Nice work. I could have assumed it was a ray but the shpae you caught is look just a little sinister in the water like that.

That's huge! If I ever met one of these while swimming out there, I'd be scared.
Where is this BTW? I'd love to visit!

This is one huge ray! Holy crap, lol. I saw it in the preview and thought it was massive. Very nice shot, you've captured it's grandeur size perfectly, I'm glad you chose to share this piece

My heart stopped when I saw this. The size of it actually made me scared for a second there, even though I adore rays. Well done (:

Sweet, maybe I should put up the "making of" shot to give a sense of scale
