The view is amazing, the light is incredible, but the composition needs quite a bit of work in my opinion. It's hard not to fav this just because it is so beaautiful in other areas, but really I think the foreground would benefit from a reshuffle.

I agree 100% man. I hadn't prepared properly and thus the disappointing comp. I tried to improve it, but I couldn't get back anymore because I already had my back against the rock wall. Next time

That sunstar is to die for. I have been borrowing a 16-35 mk1 but havent even gotten any stars with it...just nuts here. Lovely light and comp and blend

it's a specific to the lens design...Canon's 16-35mm probably has the best star of all the 35mm UWA lenses of today

Lovely light in the foreground, great technique that I've tried a fair bit myself with the finger in front of the sun.
