This is majestic! I especially like how the grass is lit by the setting sun rays.

This really attracted my attention out of the Browse gallery of Deviantart.
What a stunning piece! It's beautiful. Is it weird to say that this reminds me of Lord of the Rings, when there's a view from Ithilien towards the mountain ridge of Mordor?

It's in South Africa, and our mountains aren't that majestic so it's not really known internationally

Well done! And very interesting @ "... finger in front of the sun to get rid of flare in the foreground" - could you explain that me please with other words? Hard do translate that into german.

Take another exposure with a finger in front of the sun, so you don't get any lens flare in the foreground
