Description
This one is possibly to be further modified, as soon as anything regarding detail turns out in my mind. A nice way to relax during the term... keke. I would also enjoy being teared in pieces by anyone willing to criticise it. Any cool ideas about detailing are appreciated, too.You are losing your mind and you feel it going.
EDIT:
Slightly changed the shadowing of the big one.
Deleted some cracks in the lightened part of the big planet.
Stressed a bit more on the lightning with colors and cloudy feel..
Sometimes less is more. I would appreciate comments and critique, of course, but the chances I will actually ADD anything more to the pic are tiny. I could have added a nebula as a background in the center of the pic, but then the lightning would not be convincing at all.
My english sucks, ye, I know.

Well lemme tear you up then. I got a bunch of tips.
I can see in my mind that this piece could be better with less work in some places and more in others. but, the less work would require more work. Lemme explain. First off, the stars are too thick..don't thin them out, but make less of the big stars. These kinds of pieces look nice with lots and lots of small stars (just some noise on black). Also, the..lightning bolt thing could be more cloudy? Or just more elaborate. One thing bothering me a lot is the sharp white cracks on the large planet...get rid of them, haha. Also, could you lay down some nebula action behind the planets? That would look awesome! Some nice sharp clouding.. Then one final thing. If you want the planets to be that lit up, you need a reverse crescent. The tips of shadow/light crescents should NEVER exceed the poles of the planet. as soon as it does, it flips to an inverted crescent.
Anyways. Lemme help you pick up some of the pieces of you. I hope my criticism was harsh, but in a good way.

Hey! Thank you for the tips. Will use some of them. Oh well, for example, I wouldn't change the stars... I pretty much like them more.. erm lively. I will erase some of the pure white cracks on the big daddy, it's an effect of the embossed crack layer above the original one. Since it's all lightened up there, no real point to see much of those cracks. I will try to get that lightning a bit more detailed. I really need to stress the action on that part of the pic. And a nebula, of course.
