A bunch of people were complaining that most of the semi-finalists used collaging of different photographs to create their artwork. Just to clarify, the peice was entirely hand-painted, and I only used one photo of rusted metal at the end of the painting process to give it an overall grungy look.

So, the whole game, my brother and I had no idea what happened to him, because the last time we remembered seeing him, there was a cutscene that accidentally got skipped, so we played for so many hours constantly wondering if we'd ever see him again.

Perfection!
But my ONLY nit pick is that few of his awesome "messages" on his armour is missing.
Like "Practice Reloading", "Keep your head down","Destroy Locust" and the red splatter under the "Grub Killer".
Love your artwork so much dude, cant wait for more!
(P.S It would be awesome to see you do an Onyx Guard when the DLC is out!)

thanks! and yeah, I did this painting before i played gears 3, and i only had one reference image to help me see what he looked like. I couldnt include everything.
and who knows, maybe i will paint an onyx guard. we'll see.
