And here it is, finally time to put this one to rest. I had a lot of fun working on it.The full-res shot is HUGE so I might post some detail shots later on. (I went kind of crazy doing some of the little details)
Adam Jensen, the protagonist of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, from Eidos Montreal. (Incredible game; play it if you haven't done so already).
This painting was done over the course of a few days, a few hours each day. If I had to total it up, I would guess at about 8-10 hours, from ideation to completion.

Great image! The bruising around the cuts, the realistic way the blood flows, the lighting, the details in his hair and hand, the way to you got the smoke to float so weightlessly, and his eye -fierce and full of feeling behind his broken glasses...

I really, really love how the blood flows with the formations of the skin.
Great lighting on his skin, it puts good emphasis on the emotions on his face! I would've suggested his face to be more red from exhaustion, but then again, blood's coming out of his head already so...
But yeah man! It's been awhile since I've looked, but you've really improved on matching skin textures! Amazing work!
(I also need to finish Deus Ex; this was a great reminder. xD;

This is fantastic, the emotion in that one revealed eye, the things that we hardly see with Jensen since after the argumentations, amongst all the blood and bullet wounds remind us of the humanity left in him even when so much of the physical side was taken away. And I love the eerie glow you kept in it, this image just seems to scream the ideas that the game presented. I really, really like it!
