Description This, like the other lineart, will eventually be moved to scraps. I have cunning plans for coloring it with actual colored pencils! Yes, you may all gasp in wonder now!

My character in my husband's long-term D&D 4e tabletop campaign. She's a half-elven bard/warlord with a paladin-like flavor. It all makes sense in her background, I swear!

Mostly this particular sketch was to figure out her clothing, armor, etc...I was very uncreative with the pose, I know.

Again, you're drawings are wonderful - I really like the way you can draw so accurately and take the costume into account. (I've seen plenty of costume designs, including my own, that could not be made in real life - they just look strange at times, if they are not done well - but you do a wonderful job at portraying realisim that way!)

Thank you! I don't always succeed, but I do like to have my characters' costumes look like they might be functional. (I have no patience with chainmail bikinis and their ilk.)

Glad you liked it!

Yeah, well it adds another demention to the character that I don't see alot of places in the fantasy rhelm of art - I totally know what you mean about typical women's quote/unquote "armor" too. I mean, sometimes it can be done well, but it would never exist or be functional to any significant degree. Again, this is wonderful. ^_^
