I sketched this today while I was watching my friend Liz [LizRd] practice her singing (lovely voice she has, she does) and I liked her stance and decided to go out on a limb and try drawing it. I am pretty bad at drawing from real life, but I'm feeling ok about this one right now. (Watch, in a couple days I'll be like, "Aaaaigh! it's CRAP!")Anyhow, after I had the sketch (pretty much just the legs) and she was done practicing, I went back to my room and finished it. I love the fact that Liz has so much thick, springy hair - I can cover up all the things I can't draw and it'll look just like she does anyway!
