I looked on Babynames.com but it couldn't find it... but the closest matches was:
Tambe Native American for drum,Β Β Tanav Indian(Sanskrit) for flute,Β Β Themba African for trust, hope & faith,Β Β Thimba Swahili for lion hunter,Β Timofey Russian for To Honor God,
And Tiombe African for Shy
Truly, I like the idea of Tanabi meaning Trust, Hope and Faith 
Plus it feels like the name fits him (at least to me ;])
