You don't know how delicious it is to come back to dA and the fandom after a two-month, school-imposed absence to find this bit of gorgeousness. I think my favorite part is Esme peeking out from inside that hood. And the armor is so detailed! I can even see stitching on the pouch at his side.

I am definitely planning to draw more in this style/theme. These are drawn on a slightly larger scale (A-3 format) and I really dig them, and plan to do a series and maybe frame them! I learned a lot from painting this one!

Wow, you just totally hit it out of the park with this work... you've also set the bar *very* high for everyone that was part of the Fresme Fan group discussion about how far Frollo would go to find Esmeralda. And, whether you intended to or not, you provided a polite, but firm kick in the butt for the rest of us to get with it and also contribute something around the topic.
Your drawings of Frollo are always amazing, but this one...wow. Tousled hair, those cheekbones and sharp angular features, the raw emotion... I may or may not have just drooled over my keyboard. Can't...stop...staring.
