It's neither, strangely enough. For my short story "This Night" I have the rest of the story fully fleshed out, but when I sit down to write it...ack!There is something in the dynamic between those two that throws me a little.

Absolutely!!!! I've always had a soft spot for repressed characters...mmm, actually that's the only kind of characters I like, lol.
Oh, THAT scene between Russell and Holmes...one of my fave scenes ever. It deserves a drawing, though it's a difficult scene to portray, too much sexiness!
And yeah, Russ has very good tastes concerning men, tastes that we wholly share, which means we're smart too, lol!

They do tickle me though. I remember that scene in "the Moor", where she's just been in bath or something and he comes in in shirt-sleeves. She stares at him with her brain leaking out of her ears and then suddenly it's later.....much later. Hehehe.

And yeah, there's a lot of mysterious gaps in the Russell novels: one moment they're together and "suddenly" the story continues several hours later...mmmh, not bad, not bad at all, hehe.

I has theorys to three of your questions, but I don't know if you like it. You can say if you like it.
Question 1. Why is Frollo so distraught?
My theory: I dont think he looks distraught, he looks like he's cold in my eyes (well he's soaking wet!).
Question 2. Why are they on the floor?
My theory: Hmm... Okay, don't hate me, but I have no idea!
Question 3. How come they are both soaking to the bone?
My theory: Oh that was easy! 
Question 4. And why won't Frollo touch Esmeralda?
My theory: Maybe he can't? :S Maybe the other gypsies don't trust him (and they wanna protect Esmeralda) so they have put ropes on his vrists.

1: He is wet and very, very upset. But not really with Esmeralda though.
2: I don't hate you! I guess they hadn't invented comfy sofa's yet in 1482
3: Points for creativity, but I'll have you know Frollo is a decent swimmer. Naah, I'll tell you: It's really, really bad weather out
4: Ofcourse the gypsies don't trust him! I don't trust him, and I am writing the story! You never know what he does next. But I think the key in why he won't touch Esmeralda lies in Frollo not trusting Frollo.
Now I HAVE to write moar Breaking Horses! I want to know what happens next!

Just worried about getting in trouble due to the computer at work getting hit by a horrible virus. I was checking a site that actually was involved with work, but suddenly the browser closed on its own and all icons started disappearing. I tried to run virus scans and even system restore, nothing was working. I quickly rebooted so I could fix it thru safe mode, but even safe mode was not working. It's like the whole computer was wiped clean by this virus, there was nothing left. I felt so bad and it didn't help that I felt like utter crap from this cold or whatever it is. Today tho I actually feel better, not sneezing or nothing, but I'm wondering what I'll be walking into with work, ugh! Yeah, I'd love to hop a plane and go play instead of deal with this crap.
Ah, but when I come to dA and see Frollo art troubles just melt away. Great stress-reliever, he really is.

But I'm sure some one who's half way technical can fix that; I've had it happen to me too and it turns out most files are never really gone. But it sucks and you don't deserve to have it happen to you.
